When the outside world gets too much to handle, Daydreamer is about retreating within. Build a peaceful and joyful environment for yourself. Because I wanted the audience's attention to be on her and her expression, her figure's strength contrasted with the background's heaviness. She embodies confidence and assertiveness as she glows in reds, magentas, and oranges.

I experimented a lot with Day Dreamers brushstrokes to see how well they might capture the impression of being light as a feather. Her face's various hues indicate that she has different sides to herself that are coming into awareness. Another illustration of the strength of her imagination and her ability to build her own world is the ribbon-like shape in this picture. They were also utilized to frame the main subject on the canvas. The world is attempting to encroach on the joyful environment she has created, as indicated by the darkness coming from behind her.
